  • The plan phases include phase for developing awarness of the common core standards and how they differ from state-developed standards

  • orgLib gradebook can be used as a tool that hepls teachers during the transition

  • When saving contents in an orglib gradebook, teachers are constantly reminded during the awarness phase of how the common core state standards are aligned against state-developed standards

  Transition to CCSS

  • Teachers can measure student achivement by common core state standards and when applicable can see the state-developed standards that are mapped to CCSS

  • Teachers can view lesson plan units by both state-developed standards and common core state standards

  • The mapping of common core state standards to state-developed standards is managed in the gradebook where teachers can submit their suggestions to how to map CCSS to state standards and upon review from the orgLib support staff they will be published.

  • orgLib allows only CCSS in English Language Art and Math to be associated with contents added to gradebooks for all states. However for the following list of states orgLib allows teachers to map of common core state standards to state-developed standards to help with K-12 CCSS crosswalks comparing the state-developed standards to the CCSS in ELA and Math:
